Frequently Asked Questions
What shuld I bring?
You should bring any drinks or food you like, as well as any medications you might require. Extra clothing (such as a jacket or windbreaker) is also encouraged. Dry compartment space will be available to stow these items. Last but not least, polarized sunglasses will make your trip complete. If you do not have glasses, a pair can be provided if you request.
What Should I wear?
Appropriate clothing will be determined by the season. Our captain will advise you before your trip.
What type of fish will we catch?
That will depend on the time of year, tides, and of course the cooperation of the fish!
Do I need a fishing license?
No, licenses are provided with the trip.
HOW DO WE FISH . . .
. . . For Reds?
Redfish can be caught with a variety of methods, including sight fishing with lures for the experienced caster, as well as bait fishing structure for the larger sized fish.
. . . For Tarpon?
We sight cast at rolling fish, and this can be both the most challenging as well as the most rewarding fish to land. Fish in the 20 to 60 pound class are common inshore, and off the beaches reside Silver Kings exceeding 100 pounds.
. . . For Snook?
This quarry can be found lurking near backcountry structure. An agile predator, snook find ambush points to pick off unsuspecting prey. A well placed bait, lure, or fly and BAM-predator becomes prey!
